the course will cost 28.- per class or 200.- for the entire 8 weeks What you will learn from the course: *    The    history,    origin,    myths    surrounding    China's    most popular   teas.   Each   class   will   focus   on   a   specific   type   of   tea, its variations & production techniques. What to look for to recognize the quality of the tea. The philosophy of "gong fu cha" - tea with great skill. Brewing     techniques     for     each     tea;     varying     water temperatures, teawater ratio, timing. Chinese tea etiquette, how to fully appreciate each cup.

Week 1

Intro   to   Chinese   tea   and   “gong   fu   cha”   brewing   methods, water philosophy & Yixing tea pots. tasting; light roasted Tie Guan Yin Oolong (Iron Goddess Oolong)

Week 2

Chinese Green tea tasting;    West    Lake    Dragon    Well,    Bi    Lo    Chun    &    Taiping Houkui

Week 3

Origin of Oolong Tea tasting; traditional Tie Guan Yin, Mt. Wuyi cliff tea & Phoenix Dan Cong

Week 4

Fermented dark tea tasting;   Fu   brick   with   golden   flower,   Jiang   Cheng   pu'er   & date aroma pu’er

Week 5

White tea tasting; Silver Needle, White Peony & Shumei

Week 6

Taiwanese Oolong tasting; Pouchong teal tea, Dong Ding & Oriental Beauty

Week 7

Red tea tasting;    Dian,    Ying    De    Hong    #9,    Lapsang    Souchong smoked tea

Week 8
